Elders get Paid??
by jwundubbed ini just did a google search to see if i could find out if my old kingdom hall was still there, in the town i grew up in.
google has generated questions.
the first question asked how much jehovah's witness elders get paid.

Why disfellowship must be eliminated for the survival of the WT itself
by TheScientist inthis topic i digress about why the watchtower relaxing the rules of disfellowship is essential for its survival.
many things i'm going to say are not my ideas, some are, the point is, i'm condensing everything in a logical and concise way.. the first thing we have to keep in mind is that the wt's main objective in instituting disfellowship has always been not to lose members because of the damage that a dissident could do, or to avoid gaining new members because of the bad reputation of a confessed sinner in the his/her region.
in the end, the more active members, the more money to the coffers.. in this case of disfellowship due to apostasy, to avoid any spark, texts were sought out of context that even prohibited saying "hi".

I see what you're getting at.
Perhaps a "softening" of the policies,,or along those lines.
Yes,,thats feasible.
The Borg is apt to finagle their way around policies.
Good post.

The 3 cornerstone policies the borg will never remove without collapsing in on itself are;
1) the evil blood policy
2) the shunning policy
&
3) the 2- witness rule.
The borg is bound to the hip with the above. There is no possible way they can now remove any of these.
I'll stand to be corrected though.

My decision.
by MissDaSilva ini’ve decided to disassociate from the jw organisation.
i cannot be part of a community that blatantly rejects the sacrifice of jesus in that demonic memorial ritual.
amazing what information you find when you start researching.. i’m writing my letter and posting it to the kingdom hall this morning.

""I’m really starting to wonder just how far they’ll be willing to go to keep their tax-exemption...""
if the borg's tax-exemption goes,,it is the end of the borg as we know it.
expect them to spew more hateful, demanding rhetoric. the borg could become more demanding, more cruel. remember that Jehovah = Organization to the $heeples minds.
as long as that mental hook is there....it's cringe worthy. to think what the borg may demand of it's followers.

Lines you would never hear from a Jehovah's Witness
by Ron.W. ina slightly tongue in cheek, but also serious roundup of jw speak and why trying to reason with them is like trying to chip through concrete with a plastic spoon.. how many can you think of??.
elder: 'yes.
i read through the material you asked me to at your judicial meeting - you're right we're both in a cult!

DoC:
Thats what most JWs dont know!!
Is that if a JW takes a transfusion & the eldubs know about it & if the JW is ""truly repentant" by the eldubs standards,,,he/she can be spared a dfing or a judicial committee.
This is what most JWs DO NOT know. That is unless,,, they know about the leaked contents of the evil "Sheppard the Flock of God" book or videos on youtube talking about it.
Thank God for the internet age and God bless the leakers who dispense this information. There are ""good ones"" in the Borg.

"I'm going to donate blood today."
Now,, that's something you would hear most people say with very well minded intentions. All the time.
But hearing that from a JW would be out there like Pluto. Gone.
